Fall Fundraising On Now!

DONATE NOW

Support your community radio station! CIUT broadcasts original and alternative content not found anywhere else on the FM dial. Keep CIUT 89.5 FM alive on the airwaves by donating to this treasured community organization.

Usually CIUT has two fundraising drives per year to raise money to keep the radio station operational, since other sources of funding are minimal. CIUT is primarily a listener- supported, not- for- profit registered charitable organization. In part, this means you will receive a tax receipt in return for your donation. And you get entered into draws for some amazing prizes!!

Thank you all for your continued support of community radio!

Ride the Airwaves!! CIUT Fundraising!

Hey everyone!!

Dreaming in Stereo is fundraising this Friday! Don’t forget to tune in and as always the station appreciates all of your support in any capacity. If you can afford a large or small donation, or even if you are just spreading the word about CIUT through social media and continuing to listen CIUT, it is greatly appreciated! 🙂

However, if you can support Dreaming in Stereo or CIUT in general through a financial donation you can donate online at www.ciut.fm or call in on Friday at 416-946-7800. We have a few volunteers on the phones lines!

And by the way, a little news for you below…

Fundraising Drive for CIUT Today!

Hi friends,

Just reminding you that Dreaming in Stereo is fundraising today 6pm! Don’t forget to tune in and support the program, we need your help to continue to stay on the air. I know times are strange right now but your support is really important. If you can afford it, a little or a lot, or even just spreading the word about CIUT and continuing to listen to the awesome programming every single day is appreciated.

If you would like to show your appreciation for Dreaming in Stereo or CIUT in general through a financial donation you can donate online at www.ciut.fm. Sorry we cannot take your calls this year as usual, volunteers are still recording from home due to Hart House closure. But I will be present and tweeting tonight (so bad at that social media thing, but I will try!)

Thank you all for your continued support of community radio!

UPDATE and playlist for Friday, April 3, 6-7pm

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the lateness of this post. Hope you are all keeping safe and staying indoors and taking social distancing measures so that we can all hopefully have a summer.

It took some adjusting to this new life. However, I have finally started to pre-record some playlists for the program, since no volunteers are currently allowed on Hart House and CIUT premises during the quarantine.

I apologize for the lack of announcements during the program. Given that I don’t have a studio mic at home, any vocals I have tried to record via my computer mic sound like a tin can. So the show will be just music for now. I will post the playlists here weekly. Thank you for your continued listenership and understanding!

This is the April 3rd playlist:

Bombay Bicycle Club Is It Real
Wye Oak Fortune
Phantogram In a Spiral
The Darcys Change
BisonBison Expanding
Tycho Alright
Caribou Like I Loved You
Ellis Saturn Return
Peter Bjorn and John Music
Dan Mangan Peaks & Valleys
Sarah Harmer Just Get Here
Hannah Georgas That Emotion
Arkells Years in the Making
Dizzy Sunflower
Oh Land I Miss One Week Ago
Great Lake Swimmers, Tony Dekker Getting to the Heart of It
